RCMP investigating potential threat at Cole Harbour High

RCMP are investigating a potential threat by one student against another at Cole Harbour High.
Halifax Regional School Board spokesperson Doug Hadley told NEWS 95.7, just before 9 a.m., RCMP informed the school about the threat.
“Neither of the individuals were in school today, but [RCMP] advised the school, until they could perhaps locate that person, the school should go into lockdown,” he said. “Which is what the school did.”
The lockdown lasted for about 45 minutes and the school board says all students are safe.
Cpl. Jennifer Clarke said police quickly located and arrested a male suspect.
He remains in custody and police are still investigating.
