Rainfall warning issued for Halifax

By Meghan Groff

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for several counties in Nova Scotia, including Halifax.

They say a low pressure system will bring snow, which will change to ice pellets and freezing rain, then to rain by Tuesday afternoon or evening.

They're expecting up to 35 millimetres by Wednesday morning

Localized flooding could be possible in low-lying areas.

Environment Canada also issued a freezing rain warning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
