The Weather Network releases its fall forecast

Warm and dry weather is expected to continue into fall in the Maritimes.
That's according to The Weather Network's fall forecast.
However they say there's always the possibility of periods of excessive rainfall from tropical weather as hurricane season continues.
“With regards to precipitation, you can get just a few events that can put you either below or above average,” said meteorologist Nadine Powell.
Forecasters also expect a gentle slide into winter over the rest of September, and into the months of October and November.
“So November is likely to be more of a transition, not necessarily a sharp drop in terms of our temperatures,” Powell told NEWS 95.7's The Sheldon MacLeod Show. “We're not really seeing any huge climate drivers for us that indicate we could get any sharp changes as we head into the next couple of months.”
She expects temperatures to pull back a bit over the next few weeks with highs in the teens, making them closer to seasonal.
