Driver ticketed after two pedestrians hit

Two pedestrians were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Thursday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say a man and woman were crossing Pleasant St. in the area of the Woodside Ferry Terminal at around 10:45 a.m. when they were hit by a vehicle turning left from Atlantic St. 

A 66-year-old Halifax woman has been ticketed for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
