Man charged after break-in at Brunswick Street home

Halifax Regional Police have charged a man after a break-in at a home on Brunswick Street near Cornwallis Thursday.
Police say a man went into the home at around 10:20 p.m. and was confronted by the residents.
When officers arrived, they arrested a suspect at the scene.
Rocky Augustus Syliboy, 32, of Halifax has been charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
