A man is facing a total of 34 charges after several homes and vehicles were broken into.

Items were also stolen from a vehicle parked on Windmill Road in Dartmouth on November 19.

Aaron Joseph Giles, 35, was arrested Monday evening in Halifax.

He's been charged with:

  • Five counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000
  • Five counts of possession of housebreak tools
  • Seven counts of breach of a court order

Police say they're still investigating. Anyone who has had anything stolen from their vehicles or homes is asked to report it.

If you see any suspicious activity in or around parked vehicles or in your neighbourhood, call police immediately at 490-5020.
