Police arrest Halifax man wanted on province-wide warrant (update)

The Halifax District RCMP has arrested a Halifax man that was wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.
Scott David Roy German, 30, is charged with several offences. The RCMP says he is now in custody.
The offences occurred in various incidents in 2019 and 2020 in the Tantallon and Lower Sackville areas.
German is charged with:
- Aggravated Assault x 4
- Robbery x 2
- Break and Enter and Commit x 3
- Assault x 2
- Mischief x 2
- Indecent phone calls
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Resist Arrest
- Failed to Comply x 3
- Failed to Appear in Court
The RCMP had made “several attempts to locate German but asked for assistance from the public the morning of Jan. 23. An updated news release was sent at 8:20 p.m. on the same day saying German had been arrested.
