Military aircraft lands safely after declaring an emergency

A military aircraft has landed safely at Halifax Stanfield International Airport after declaring an emergency Tuesday morning.

“Our 24/7 Emergency Response Service team was prepared to respond if needed,” said Halifax International Airport Authority spokesperson Leah Batstone in an emailed statement.

She said the aircraft landed safely and without incident at approximately 10:22 a.m.
