NSLC stores reduce operating hours

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation is temporarily reducing its hours of operation.
It says the move is to allow for enhancing cleaning as the province responds to a third wave of COVID-19.
As of today, stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.
The new hours are expected to be in effect until Monday, May 10.
As per government regulations, NSLCs are already operating at 25 per cent capacity, so lineups outside stores are likely.
The NSLC is asking customers to do the following:
- wearing a mask,
- practicing physical-distancing by staying six feet apart,
- paying with cards, avoiding the use of cash whenever possible, and
- not shopping in our stores if you have travelled outside of Nova Scotia or are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms.
Nova Scotia's two-week province-wide lockdown kicked in this morning.
