Expect a long wait at the QE II emergency department

Be ready for a long wait if you're heading to the emergency department at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre.
That's the message from Nova Scotia Health on Monday afternoon. It said the ER is seeing extremely high patient volumes and limited capacity.
People were being asked not to stay inside with a patient unless necessary because of the number of people looking for care.
Nova Scotia Health offering an apology and said if you head to the ER, expect a long wait.
