Mooseheads head to Quebec City for game one vs. Remparts

The wait is over.

Puck drop is just hours away, as the QMJHL finals get set to start between the Halifax Mooseheads and Quebec Remparts.

Quebec is undefeated so far in the playoffs, sweeping their way to the finals.

Both teams weren’t expected to make it this far, as journalists and league executives had expected Sherbrooke and Gatineau to win in the semis.

Halifax meantime holding out hope for the return of newly-named QMJHL MVP Jordan Dumais for this series. Dumais went down with injury against Sherbrooke.

Quebec holds home-ice advantage. Games one and two will go Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and we’ll have all the action on CityNews 95.7.
