Evacuation order for residents living near Farmers Dairy Lane lifted
Department of Resources and Renewals say they are working on the fire in the Taylor Lake and Sandy Lake areas of Hammonds Plains. DNRR reports having ground crews on site, and a helicopter could be seen dropping water on the fire.
Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, an emergency alert was issued telling residents that an emergency order that was in effect for an area near Farmers Dairy Lane had been rescinded

Earlier in the evening, residents in areas near the fire have evacuated the potential of an ammonia leak in the fire zone, including:

- Lewis Dr
- Farmers Dairy Lane
- Giles Dr
- Bluewater Road
- Olive Ave
- Gary Martin Dr
- Topsail Ct
- Command Ct
- Lasalle Ct
- Castlestone Dr
- Hammonds Plains Road from Giles to Larry Uteck Blvd
In lifting the order, officials did warn residents that they could be out of their homes again with only 30 minutes notice.
A look at the latest evacuation map shows that this fire is outside of the perimeter of the original evacuation zone imposed on Sunday due to the Tantallon fire.

A 30-minute precautionary notice was also issued on Tuesday for residents on Viscount Run from Spygless, including Cloverleaf and Summerwood Lane.
Comfort Centre has been opened for those out of their homes at LeBrun Recreation Centre, 36 Holland Avenue in Bedford.
