Basinview Drive, Bedford South schools added to list of closures on Wednesday

HRCE has announced several schools in and around fire areas will remain closed for the day Wednesday.
Two schools have been added to the list of closures as of Wednesday morning.
Those are:
- Basinview Drive Community School
- Bedford South School
The following schools were previously announced as being closed on Wednesday:
- Bay View High School
- Tantallon Junior Elementary
- Tantallon Senior Elementary
- Five Bridges Junior High
- St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary
- Kingswood Elementary
- Hammonds Plains Consolidated
- Madeline Symonds Middle School
- Charles P. Allen High School
- Harry R. Hamilton Elementary
- Millwood Elementary
- Millwood High School
- Sackville Heights Elementary
- Sackville Heights Junior High
HRCE says they are continuing to monitor the situation closely and that they are also receiving advice from the Emergency Measures Office.
Elsewhere, École du Grand-Portage in Lower Sackville, a Conseil scolaire acadien provincial school, will also be closed Wednesday.
