Military training taking place across HRM in November

Halifax residents may notice some increased military operations around Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) over the next few days.

According to the Department of National Defence, members of Canada’s Special Operations Forces will be conducting routine training around the city from Nov. 1 until Nov. 10.

The training will occur from 3 p.m. until 10:30 p.m and will involve helicopters travelling to and from 12 Wing Shearwater so people may notice more increased traffic noise overhead during those hours.
