Fuel prices jump up overnight in Nova Scotia

Fuel prices are up this morning in Nova Scotia.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board made its weekly adjustment at midnight and increased the price for regular self-serve gasoline by 3.8 cents to 159.1 per litre.

On the diesel side, the price for that fuel is now running at 194.1 cents per litre, an increase of 1.3 cents.

One year ago, gas was costing Nova Scotians $1.55 per litre, and diesel was $1.98.
