Four face drug charges after search of Dartmouth business, police say

Halifax Regional Police has charged four people with drug trafficking in relation to a search conducted in Dartmouth yesterday.

HRP said officers searched a business on Highfield Park Dr. on Wednesday afternoon and allege cannabis was being sold illegaly at the location.

Four people were arrested and officers allegedly seized over 50 lbs of cannabis as well as resin, edibles and cash.

Thomas Kenneth Durfee, 39, was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court Thursday. A 21-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and a 53-year-old woman will appear at a later date, all facing a long list of drug related charges.
