Mounties search for truck in hit-and-run in Digby County

The RCMP has released a photo of a truck as officers continue to investigate an alleged hit-and-run in Digby County.

On Jan. 27, at about 3 p.m. the Mounties were called to reports of a crash between an ATV and a pickup truck on Patrice Rd. in Church Point. Police said the black GMC Sierra drove off.

The man on the ATV, a 49-year-old from Church Point, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Police did not offer an update on his condition.

On Tuesday, the RCMP released photos of the truck alleged to have been involved in the hit-and-run, describing it as a black GMC Sierra with damage to its front passenger-side headlight.
