Halifax police look for woman involved in robbery at Irving gas station

Regional Police are investigating a robbery that took place in Halifax on Wednesday morning.
At roughly 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Irving Gas Station on Quinpool Road where a woman entered, threatened the employee with a knife and made off with cash, cigarettes and scratch tickets.

Police say the victim was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a white woman, 5’6″ tall, who is roughly 40 years old.
At the time, she was carrying a black bag and was wearing a black puffy winter coat, black pants and red sneakers.
