Missing Newfoundland man could be in Halifax, police say

Halifax Regional Police (HRP) are asking the public for help finding a missing man from Newfoundland.

HRP says William McLean, 49, was reported missing in Newfoundland on Oct. 19, but police say information suggests he may have been in the Halifax area.

He is described as a white man, about 5’9″ and 167 lbs.

“There is no information to suggest that William has met with any foul play, however, police and his family are concerned for his well-being,” police said in a media release.

Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police or Crime Stoppers.
