Second gas price drop this week in Nova Scotia

A break in the price at the pumps this morning, for the second time this week.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board, formerly the UARB, has dropped the price of a litre of self-serve regular gasoline by 7.9 cents in its weekly overnight adjustment, to 135.2.

This drop in price comes after the board invoked the interrupter clause earlier this week because of shifts in market prices for gas and oil.

The price of diesel has gone down by 8.5 cents to 141.1.

Last year around this time, we were paying 175.2 for a litre of gas and 189.8 for diesel.
