RCMP renew call for information on missing Nova Scotia man

The RCMP is renewing its request for the public’s help in locating a missing man from East Uniacke, N.S.

Paul Joseph Freel, 45, was last seen on April 4 at around 5:35 p.m. in the East Uniacke area. He was reported missing nine days later.

Police say the grey 2013 Nissan Rogue he had been driving was found abandoned on a logging road off East Uniacke Road.

Freel is described as 5’11” and about 250 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his arms. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jogging pants and blue running shoes with yellow and white accents. Investigators believe he currently has notches shaved or plucked into his eyebrows.

Search efforts have involved local and neighbouring RCMP detachments, Ground Search and Rescue, Police Dog Services, drones and RCMP Air Services.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked not to approach him and to contact the East Hants District RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
