Gas, diesel prices drop across Nova Scotia

Drivers are paying less to fill up their tanks in Nova Scotia this morning.

The provincial regulator has lowered the price of self-serve regular gas by two cents, bringing the new minimum price to 143.7 cents per litre.

The news is even better for those needing diesel — fuel prices slipped by 4.8 cents at midnight, landing at 151.6 cents per litre.

A year ago, drivers were paying 175.0 cents per litre for gasoline and 177.0 for diesel.
