Moncton residents react to shooting suspect’s arrest

MONCTON, N.B. – Moncton residents will see their lives return to some sort of normalcy today after the arrest of 24-year old Justin Bourque.
As you just heard, the nerve-wracking manhunt ended early this morning during the almost 30-hour ordeal, residents in the north end of the city were under lockdown and were asked to stay in their homes.
Colin Slaunwhite says he’s relieved to go home, but says it will take time for his city to heal.
“It’s going to take a while until all the adrenaline runs out and everyone tries to comprehend what happened in a small city like this.”
Police will release details of the arrest during a news conference in Moncton this morning.
