A Halifax man has been charged with three break and enters in the downtown core.
The first happened on Nov. 20 at a Clyde Street parking garage, when Halifax Regional Police say the window of a vehicle was smashed and electronics were stolen.
The other two break-ins happened early on Nov. 27.
At 5 a.m. an alarm called officers to Julep Kitchen and Cocktails on Barrington at Prince. Police say someone broke in and took alcohol.
Then at 8 a.m., another alarm was triggered at nearby LeadSift , also on Barrington Street. Electronics went missing from that business.
A few hours later, officers arrested a suspect on Clyde Street.
“He was in possession of some of the electronic equipment stolen during the Barrington Street break-in,” police said in a news release.
Steven James Dewolfe, 37, of Halifax has been charged with theft under $5,000, mischief and three counts of break and enter.
