Man facing charges after alleged sexual assault in Enfield

A man is facing charges after an alleged sexual assault in Enfield.

RCMP say the incident stems back to March of 2023 at a home on Carriage Lane.

After receiving a report in April, mounties started an investigation and met with the survivor who told officers she had been sexually assaulted while sleeping by a man who is known to her.

On April 24, RCMP officers arrested a 61-year-old Enfield man and later released him on conditions.

Robert Moulton has since been formally charged with three counts of sexual assault and will appear in Shubenacadie Provincial Court.
