Sun, showers and warm temperatures on tap for weekend

We will see a little bit of everything over the weekend when it comes to the weather.

Citynews Weather Specialist Denise Andreacchi says for most of the day on Friday, we will see a mix of sun and cloud with a high temperature of 9 degrees Celsius (C).  As we move through the evening and into the overnight, there is a chance of a passing shower and a low of 7 C.

Once those showers pass early Saturday morning, Andreacchi says the skies will begin to clear, and we are looking for a daytime high about seasonal at 13 C.  Saturday night, clouds will roll into the region. The overnight low is just 2 C.

Sunday will be a mostly cloudy day to start, and we can expect showers later on in the day.  The high temperature on Sunday is expected in the 9 C range.  Sunday night, Andreacchi says, the low will drop all of the way to -3 C.

Monday, we are looking at a partly cloudy sky but a daytime high of 3 C, which is below seasonal values.
