Gas, diesel prices jump in Halifax on Friday

Gas prices in have gone up in the Halifax area on Friday morning.

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board increased the price of regular self-serve gasoline by 1.4 cents to 156.4.

Diesel prices also went up 5.8 cents to 173.3.

This time last year, Nova Scotians were paying 159.1 for gas while diesel was 202.7.
