Pedestrian suffers serious injuries after being struck by vehicle in marked crosswalk

Regional police are investigating after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in Bedford on Tuesday.

At roughly 10 a.m., a vehicle struck a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Dartmouth Road and the Bedford Highway.

Police said the pedestrian, a 30-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

According to HRP, the investigation is ongoing that will determine whether a summary offence ticket is issued.
