The RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Hubbards that occurred on Sunday.

According to Halifax RCMP, a 46-year-old man has been arrested for impaired driving after officers were called to Fox Point Road, after reports of a truck in a ditch around 2:45 a.m.

Arriving officers say they found a Ford F-150 with an attached boat and trailer off the road with a man climbing out of the vehicle.

Officers say the man appeared impaired and was taken into custody.

After being transported to Tantallon RCMP detachment, he gave breath samples showing 200 mb per cent.

The man, from Lower Sackville, has since been released but will appear in court at a later date.
