Large search and rescue exercise coming to Halifax Harbour Saturday

Expect to see a lot of activity in Halifax Harbour Saturday, especially near Eastern Passage and Kings Wharf.

Halifax Search and Rescue says multiple agencies will be conducting a large scale training exercise.

“Saturday's rescue scenario involves a simulated tour boat that capsizes in the Halifax Harbour,” they said in a news release. “Teams will conduct land and sea-based searches to locate the survivors.”

The exercise is scheduled to take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
