The MLA for Sackville-Beaver Bank thinks the community health centre in his riding is being forgotten in the government's plans to redevelop the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
Brad Johns, the MLA for the area, says the Cobequid Community Health Centre has been left out of government's redevelopment plans.
Johns says he wants to know why.
“I'd like to see the overall plan and how Cobequid fits into that plan,” said Johns. “But it seems it's benefitting everybody except for Sackville right now.”
The MLA says he's been hearing from workers at the Cobequid centre, along with residents, who think more needs to be done.
Last week, the Nova Scotia Government announced $5.1 million in tenders for renovations to the Dartmouth General Hospital.
