Wanted man arrested after Halifax traffic stop

After determining the driver had provided a false name, Halifax Regional Police arrested a man after discovering he had three outstanding warrants

Halifax Regional Police have arrested a man in relation to three outstanding warrants for incidents that occurred earlier this year.

On Mar. 8, officers pulled over a vehicle without a license plate or temporary permit around 7:20 p.m.

After determining the driver had provided a false name, he was subsequently identified and discovered to have three outstanding warrants.

Two warrants were for failing to appear in court and one for a theft investigation.

25-year-old Ryan William Colbourne was scheduled to appear in court on Mar. 9 to face charges of Theft under $5,000, Possession of stolen property under $5,000, obstruction and two counts of Failing to appear in court.
