Mooseheads pick up impressive 8-2 win over Titan

BATHURST, N.B. – The Halifax Mooseheads dominated the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in an 8-2 victory Wednesday night at Centre regional K.C. Irving. 

The Mooseheads got off to a very strong start with Ostap Safin, Marcel Barinka and Antoine Morand scoring back-to-back goals to make it 3-0. Liam Murphy found the back of Halifax's net before the end of the first.

Jared McIsaac extended the Herd's lead early in the second period with Murphy responding with his second of the evening. Arnaud Durandeau answered back with two goals to make it 6-2 Moose.

BO Groulx and Samuel Asselin added to the Herd's lead in the third period to make it an 8-2 final.

The Mooseheads return home on Friday to welcome the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
