Mooseheads top Wildcats 4-2

HALIFAX – The Halifax Mooseheads picked up a 4-2 road win over the Moncton Wildcats Saturday night.
Jared McIsaac opened things up scoring midway through the first period, putting Halifax up 1-0.
Mika Cyr and Jeremy McKenna responded in the second period, giving Moncton a 2-1 lead. Raphael Lavoie tied things up on a power play to make it 2-2 heading into the third period.
Keith Getson extended Halifax's lead to 4-2 late in the third period to help seal the deal.
On Wednesday, the Mooseheads head back to Halifax to take on the Charlottetown Islanders.
