Child reportedly offered candy, asked to go to vehicle

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a report of suspicious circumstances.

It happened at around 4:35 p.m. on Saturday, November 5

Police say a child was near a park on Langbrae Drive when a woman they didn't know offered them candy, then asked them to go to her vehicle.

The child left the area and told an adult.

The suspect is described as Black, in her 30s, and around 5'5″ with short hair. She had been wearing jeans and a bright pink coat.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
