Update: High risk offender back in custody after escape Sunday morning

UPDATE — Police say 35-year old Joshua James Turner was arrested at 2:40 p.m. in Dartmouth without incident.
Halifax Regional Police would like to thank media and members of the public for their assistance in helping create awareness.

HRP say that Joshua James Turner escaped from a Dartmouth facility around 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police say in a release that Turner, 35, was being held at the Jamieson Community Correctional Centre located on Morris Drive in Dartmouth.
In a release, HRP warn that he is a high risk offender with regards to both sexual and violent offences.
Turner is described as a white male, 5'10″ and approximately 150 lbs. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and black framed thick rim glasses.
Police says Turner was last seen wearing a black jacket with “Bum” in white letters on the back, along with dark pants and a black baseball cap, and was spotted in the area of Windmill Road by Magazine Hill.
HRP are currently searching for the man, and any residents who see someone fitting Turner's description is asked not to approach him but instead call 9-1-1.
