Man charged with property damage after mirror broken off bus

A Dartmouth man has been charged with property damage after a transit bus was damaged last month.

Halifax Regional Police say a mirror was broken off a Halifax Transit bus in downtown Dartmouth at around 12:20 p.m. on June 16 while it was at a stop on Alderney Drive.

Police received several tips from the public after releasing photos of a suspect and officers arrested a 44-year-old man Tuesday night.

He's scheduled to appear on court at a later date.
