Man has life-threatening injuries after Halifax shooting

Halifax Regional Police say a man has life-threatening injuries after being shot in Halifax.

Officers were called to Scot St., near Joseph Howe Dr. and Bayer Rd. just after 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Police say more information is not available at this time as it's still early in the investigation.

Scot St. has been closed off to both pedestrians and vehicles and police are expected to be on scene for an extended period of time.
