Two killed in motorcycle crash

Two people, including a Tangier woman, have been killed in a motorcycle crash in Guysborough County.

RCMP say the motorcycle was heading along Highway 7 at around 5 p.m. Sunday when it hit the shoulder in the Melrose area, north of Sherbrooke.

The driver — a 64-year-old Ontario man — and the passenger — the 64-year-old Tangier woman — were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Mounties say they are still investigating.
