Premier says insurance cap is history

Premier Darrell Dexter talked to reporters in Halifax today from Copenhagen to touch on events here at home, including the government’s plans on the $2500 insurance cap on minor car accident injuries.
And according to the Premier, that insurance cap is history.
“The question is how we go about making sure the system we have in place is a fair one,” says Dexter.
A review paper is due out soon outlining the government’s options.
As for the climate change conference the premier says despite what you see on the news, there are a lot of positive accomplishments.
“What you see broadcast is always, or usually the most controversial things that are going on,” says Dexter.
“But what people need to know is that in addition to those things that are going on, there’s a tremendous amount of working going on.”
Dexter says today’s he meeting with a company interested in investing in Fundy tidal power.
