Mother nature doesn’t send anyone on free vacation

There will be no free vacations this year from Canadian vacation company itravel2000.
“After the big win last year, we had a lot of Atlantic Canadians watching because it was snowing that day and it snowed the next day, but not enough snow to win,” says i-travel’s Marketing VP Stuart Morris.
It needed to snow 5 inches or 12 cm on new years day. The official total in Halifax was 1.7 cm.
Hundred of people won free vacations last year in this region when it did snow more than 5 inches. Twice as many people participated in the event this year.
Morris says this is the first year no Canadian cities involved got enough snow. Montreal was the closest with about half the amount of snowfall needed.
