Jimmy Melvin Jr. arrested — again

Infamous Halifax-area criminal Jimmy Melvin Jr. is behind bars — again.

It didn’t take long for him to be embroiled in more illegal activity after only being released from prison last month.

He is under arrest this time in connection with an assault Wednesday night in North End Dartmouth.

He is facing a laundry list of charges including assault with a weapon, uttering threats and forcible confinement.

It’s actually the second time Melvin has been picked up by police since his January 15 release. He was arrested on January 24 after a scuffle at the Halifax Casino.
