N.S. gas prices expected to rise slightly

There’s some uncertainty surrounding gas prices this week, but it seems fairly certain they’re not going down.

News 95.7 is predicting an increase of about a penny or so when regulated prices are reset tonight.

Regular self-serve is currently going for $1.06.8 in metro, well above last year’s price of 85.7 cents per litre.

In New Brunswick, prices went up by 1.3 cents overnight to a new maximum of $1.05.8. Most stations are selling gas for a couple of cents less today.
