Mooseheads lose one last time this season

The Halifax Mooseheads will have the 2nd overall pick in the 2010 QMJHL Entry Draft after losing a coin flip.
A coin flip between the teams that place last and second-last determines which team gets the top pick. The last-place Mooseheads lost that coin flip Thursday morning to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
“Although it would have been nice to have the first overall pick for the Organization and our Fans, we are still very excited heading to the QMJHL Draft,” said Head Coach and GM Cam Russell in a release. “With five picks in the top 37 selections, we know we are in a great position to add a handful of very talented prospects to our Organization.”
The second overall pick is the highest pick the Mooseheads have ever had outside of Etienne Drapeau who was selected first overall in the team’s 1994 inaugural season. The herd will also select 19th, 25th, 28th and 37th.
