A waterfront project that is six years in the making is finally ready for construction.
The Salter Development Project has seen the developer take over ownership of the land, which is a parking lot next to Bishop’s Landing, across from the Keith’s Brewery.
“We’re hoping that it starts some point soon after June,” says Waterfront Development President and CEO Colin MacLean. “It’s going to be a big project so they’re going to set a development schedule. You’ll begin to see the property getting secured off and we should see the beginnings of some excavation activity.”
The $75 million project will include a 12-storey condo building, with retail space, a hotel and a one-acre public park.
