Pantless Krystal forced down Spring Garden after losing bet

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ recent playoff exit at the hands of the Montreal Canadiens has cost more than the loss of a repeat Stanley Cup for Cole Harbour’s Sidney Crosby.
It forces News 95.7 talk show host Andrew Krystal to march pantless down the city’s busiest street.
“But you Habs fans have come forward like the suckers you are to bet me against the Pens; you people are delirious,” said Krystal on Maritime Morning April 30.
“If the Habs prevail over the Pittsburgh Penguins, I will buy a Montreal Canadiens jersey and wear boxer shorts and walk down Spring Garden Road.”
The ‘walk of shame’ started at Robie Street and proceeded down Spring Garden to Barrington Street.
Escorted by the police and a Dixieland band playing uplifting music, Krystal held a sign that read “Drop your pants for the Habs”.
At least three onlookers joined in on the pants-dropping.
“I’m a Habs fan as well now that Pittsburgh lost, so why not?” said Benjamin after flashing his undies in solidarity with Krystal.
Ken MacKay, a member of the band and wearing a Canadiens jersey, reveled in Krystal’s loss.
“Oh, that was just perfect,” said MacKay “What a perfect Friday afternoon chore.”
