Foggy conditions, potential precipitation in Halifax ahead this week

A beautiful sunny weekend behind has given way to a potentially foggy, rainy week ahead for the Halifax area.
Environment Canada projects a mix of sun and cloud through the afternoon on Monday. The projected high is 26 degrees, feeling more like 20 along parts of the coast. Into the evening, more cloud cover is expected, followed by a 60 percent chance of drizzle or showers into the evening and overnight into Tuesday. Fog patches will begin late Monday and are expected to dissipate sometime Tuesday morning.

Temperatures will drop to 15 degrees overnight into Monday, where the chance of drizzle will drop to roughly 30 percent by early morning Tuesday. Expect a temperature high of 27 degrees on Tuesday, closer to 20 along parts of the coast. Clouds will roll back in around Tuesday evening.
Temperatures drop to a low of 14 into Wednesday, where a mix of sun and cloud is expected through the afternoon. Wednesday’s projected high is 28 degrees, except 19 along parts of the coast.
Environment Canada says UV levels will remain at a level 8 throughout the week, or “very high” on their scale.
