School board hunting video leak

The Halifax Regional School Board wants to know who leaked the video.
A security video of the March incident at Graham Creighton Junior High involving school principal Ken Fells asnd a 14-year-old student is now a hot item on YouTube. It has had over 100,000 hits since it was posted on the website late last week.
The video shows Fells confronting the student who was accused of inappropriate behaviour with his cell phone camera. After pushing the principal, Fells grabbed the youth and later physically took him to his office.
School board chair Irvine Carvery says making the video pulbic was unfortunate. He says board staff has now been instructed to attempt to find out who leaked the video to the media and repercussions are possible.
The student’s parents say the video is proof their son was assaulted and they want the board to reconsider its decision not to fire Fells, but re-assign him. Carvery says he’s comfortable with the board’s decision and the file will not be re-opened.
Fells says he too wonders who leaked the video, but he’ll say nothing more until the board completes its probe.
