Three people injured in weekend stabbings

Police in HRM responded to three stabbings over the weekend – including one on their own doorstep.

Paramedics went to the RCMP detachment in Sackville around 9:15 Sunday evening to help a man with minor injuries. The Herald reports it’s not clear whether the man was injured at the detachment or somewhere else.

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized with serious injuries after he was stabbed at
Downsview Mall Saturday evening. RCMP arrested another 17-year-old boy soon afterwards.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating the stabbing of a 29-year-old man outside his home on Spring Avenue in Dartmouth on Friday evening. The man suffered non-life threatening injuries when he says he was attacked by a stranger.
