A Beaverbank business owner is offering a $10,000 reward for information on the vandals responsible for recent major damage to his property.
Robin Barrett says someone broke into his firewood compound on Beaverbank Road sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday afternoon.
He tells the Herald the vandals smashed the windows out of four trucks and a car, as well as crashing one of his trucks into a wood splitter.
He says it’s the worst vandalism he’s ever seen at his business, which has been targeted several times before.
Barrett believes young people are behind the damage.
He says on previous occasions, security cameras have shown teens climbing over the fence. He adds the woods behind the compund are a popular spot for underage drinking.
